Footwear Manufacturing

The Group, the largest branded athletic and casual footwear manufacturer in the world, is an OEM/ODM for major international brand name companies such as Nike, adidas, Reebok, Asics, New Balance, Puma, Converse, Merrell, Salomon, and Timberland. Besides, the Group is the only one footwear manufacturer who is competent to serve more than 60 international footwear brands simultaneously.

The Group through its subsidiary, Yue Yuen Industrial (Holdings) Ltd. (“Yue Yuen”, http://www.yueyuen.com), has diversified its production bases from Taiwan, to China, Indonesia, Vietnam, United States and Mexico, and developed over 1,000-hectare industrial parks in these countries. Such expansions also promoted local industrial upgrading, increased national tax income, provided employment opportunities, improved living standard and economic development accordingly.

Vertical Integration

By applying vertical integration and horizontal expansion strategies, the Group has successfully consolidated its know-how and technology within the Group to create its unique competitiveness in footwear manufacturing. As a strategic partner, the Group keeps focusing on footwear manufacturing that makes its global branded customers concentrate their efforts on marketing and branding. Meanwhile, the Group continues using new technology to upgrade its manufacturing processes, lower labor costs and improve product quality that enabled the Group to shift from manufacturing-based industry to innovative-based industry.

Leverage on vertical integration and horizontal expansion is an important strategy of the Group. The Group invests and produces almost all raw materials of footwear industry to ensure the stable supply of key components, and such fully integrated supply chain also benefits the Group to improve its overall quality.

Sports Apparel/Sports Accessories Manufacturing

The Group not only focused on footwear manufacturing, but also expanded into sports apparel and accessories manufacturing. For sports apparel, the Group invested Eagle Nice (International) Holdings Ltd., listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which is engaged in OEM/ODM of sports apparel. In addition, the Group and Luen Thai Holdings Ltd. formed a joint venture called Yuen Thai Industrial Co., Ltd. to focus on sports apparel manufacturing. For sports accessories, the Group invested in Prosperous Industrial (Holdings) Ltd., a well known manufacture of sports bags, backpacks, luggage and travel accessories. The Group would continue to diversify its product categories to strengthen its position as a fully fledged supply chain solutions provider for branded customers.
